SOL: Sueños

I have been thinking about kissing you
Since the third time I met you
I’ve been wondering what a photograph of my
Bare torso would look like next to your bed
I have already copyrighted the way the wind will
Stream through your window with understated fanfare
The way your raven hair will be ignited under sunlight
Each haphazard end turning red, volcanic lover
Slowly erupting and tearing at pieces from the outside in
Repeated dreams have my hands clutched in sheets
The heavy scent of your skin on me
Spilled coffee on old wooden floors, my back pressed against your
Door, your hungry hands making a beautiful mockery
Of the velvet dress draping my knees
