Welcome to MIND BODY SOL!
I am a born-and-bred Canadian who typically resides within the GTA, however for the better part of the last two years I made my home in Malta and now I’m currently bouncing around southern Europe. After I graduated from university I decided I needed to make the most of what youth and funds I had at my disposal and set off to experience more of what the world had to offer. By using Workaway I’ve been able to spend as little as one month and as long as nine months doing work-exchange placements around Europe.
This blog was created in 2013 as a way to keep me creative post-graduation and to help me connect with people around the globe. I find myself constantly learning and changing and so will the content of this blog; all I ask is that you read with an open mind and know that I appreciate everyone who takes time out of their day to read what I post.
I decided to title this endeavour MIND BODY SOL as I believe it incorporates the key components of my life.
All my MIND posts will focus on quotes and excerpts from written work that do not belong to me, but that I find enlightening or thought-provoking. Please feel free to comment and recommend new books and articles that you find inspiring! I am always looking to expand my library.
The posts under the BODY category will focus on health and fitness, as well any insight from my perpetual journey of lifestyle changes in my quest for a healthier, happier life.
Finally, SOL will focus on my personal travel journals, opinions, writing, and anything else that may come to mind. As I get older I am striving to be more open and honest with my writing; the opinions I voice are mine and mine alone, but I am always open to frank discussions and challenging viewpoints. Thank you for reading and always feel free to reach out!
