SOL: Doomed

Offering up flesh like
Unholy sacrifice, baiting sinners to sink their
Teeth into something richer in the hope it
Leads them into damnation

I can’t help toeing the lines of decency
No one is as good as you think they are
No lips are as soft as you expect when you
Plummet head first into them like a trainwreck

SOL: Vessel

They will warn you of forbidden fruit and
Weave stories of venom, desire and lust.
Beware of what is offered from a chalice.
Still, make them drink – hold all your offerings
Slightly above their lips and
Watch how quickly the saints
Turn into savages.

3AM Thoughts // AKA “Stories are Written by Those Victorious.”

MIND: Fiery

Self-love is the foundation for your capacity to love the other person.
If you don’t take good care of yourself, if you are not happy, if you are not peaceful, you cannot make the other person happy.
You cannot help the other person; you cannot love.

Your capacity for loving another person depends entirely on your capacity for loving yourself, for taking care of yourself.
